Brooke Sibala:
‘When aiming for a specific style, I take a dive into its history, exploring its evolution over the years. Witnessing the different elements of a style and seeing what has changed or remained constant is a very fascinating part of the process.
‘The real magic happens after the research phase, this is when I start visualizing the pieces I own or those from designers I admire. Matching these pieces together feels like a fun little dress-up game, where the possibilities are endless even with a limited selection. My ultimate goals is to make my clients feel beautiful and confident. Wearing a carefully curated outfit can empower someone and I aim to evoke that sense of readiness and self-assurance in every individual I style.
Tedi, a talented model, reached out to me to work on a goth/alternative shoot with her. Having never tackled this concept before, it was a learning experience that expanded my knowledge of the goth and alternative scene. There’s always something new to learn in the world of fashion, with countless brands, designers, and styles I have yet to discover. Embracing diverse projects and stepping out of my comfort zone continually opens doors to new creative possibilities for me. In every styling endeavor, I strive to push boundaries and explore new horizons, ensuring that my work remains dynamic, Innovatie and full of expression.
This shoot was an absolute delight for me. Collaborating with other creatives is one of my favorite aspects of styling. Everyone was such a pleasure to work with. Witnessing everyone in action and in their element was truly inspiring. It served as a powerful reminder of why I love styling and the creative energy it brings.’
