Estefania Cazessus, 21 year old student designer at San Diego’s Mesa College, presented her three-part collection at the 2024 Golden Scissors Student fashion show. Inspired by gothic pop culture, Cazessus named the collection Muse of Darkness, taking after Elvira and her title, ‘Mistress of the Dark’. Designs looked to evoke traditional gothic silhouettes and details, with a modern avantgarde flare.

https://SUNGOTH.co had the pleasure to style along Cazessus for Muse of Darkness, providing custom and signature pieces for this runway collection. Models walked in a theatrical manor evoking the goth vibes of each dress to the sounds of Boy Harsher, ‘Pain’. Overall Cazessus took 3rd place within her class. Cazessus looks to continue her design journey by transferring to CSULB later this fall.
